Your configuration

Answer the questions to build your site’s configuration.

Plant view: the physical site for your site type, drawn from the same configuration and scenario as the diagram below. Equipment marked proposed appears faded in “Your site today”. Illustrative, not a layout drawing.

Conceptual single-line diagram for discussion. It is not an approved electrical drawing; the final architecture follows Samvora’s site survey and engineering review. Arrows show the direction of power flow.

    Sizing & figures

No numbers until they are engineered.

This explorer shows configuration and operating behaviour only. Power (kW), storage (kWh), backup time and cost figures are prepared from your bills, load data and site survey, and every figure we share is labelled as simulated, assumed, illustrative or field-verified.

    Live engineering view

The same scenario, hour by hour.

These graphs follow the scenario selected above. They show the shape of each device’s behaviour through a day, normalised and illustrative. Figures appear only after Samvora’s engineering model is connected and validated.

Equipment operating state through the day

Each row is one piece of equipment; colour shows what it is doing. The EMS row shows the decision behind each change.

Energy balance: what supplies the load, hour by hour

Supply always equals demand: solar first, then the battery in the windows the EMS chooses, then the grid. Charging appears below the axis. Shape from the illustrative model; real balance comes from metered data and the engineering model.

Battery state of charge, limits and power

Balanced: Stores midday solar, covers peak windows and trims demand above the site limit. Our usual starting point. The battery stays inside its operating window; charge and discharge never exceed the converter limit.

    Before / after

    What changes in each situation.

The same site, today and with the configuration pathway. This compares operating behaviour, not savings; savings are only stated after measured data and an engineering study.

      What happens next
      1. Engineer review

A Samvora engineer reads your summary and calls to confirm the basics.

      2. Evidence

Bills, single-line diagram, load data or a short metering study.

      3. Site survey

Roof or ground, panels, protection, generator and battery location.

      4. Engineered proposal

Sized architecture, operating strategy and figures, each labelled with its basis.

      How to read the diagram

      A single-line diagram, simplified.

Engineers draw a site’s electrical system as a single-line diagram (SLD): every source and load connected to the main busbar through its converter and protection.

      Power flow

Arrows show direction. Blue grid, amber solar, green battery, rust generator, dark loads.

      Breakers

Closed carries power. Open (red) isolates the grid in an outage or pauses non-critical loads.

      New or to evaluate

Solid with NEW: proposed equipment. Dashed with EVALUATE: depends on survey and data.

      EMS control

Dashed violet lines: the EMS commands converters, generator and load breakers.

      Labels on every figure

Where a number comes from is part of the number.

When Samvora shares preliminary or final figures, each one carries its basis so you always know how much to rely on it.

      • SimulatedCalculated by Samvora’s engineering model from the inputs you provided.
      • AssumedA stated engineering assumption, used until your site data replaces it.
      • IllustrativeShows behaviour or method only. Not specific to your site.
      • Field-verifiedMeasured or confirmed on site by Samvora.
      Questions

      About the explorer.

Is the Energy Explorer a design or a quotation?

No. It shows a preliminary configuration pathway and conceptual single-line diagram so you can understand the options. Equipment sizes, costs and the final electrical design come from Samvora's engineering review of your bills, load data and site survey.

Are my answers sent to Samvora?

Not automatically. Your answers stay in this browser tab. They are shared only if you choose to continue to the assessment form and save it, or send the summary on WhatsApp yourself.

Why are there no kW, kWh or savings figures?

Figures are shown only when they come from Samvora's engineering model or a verified site study, each labelled as simulated, assumed, illustrative or field-verified. Until then the explorer shows configuration and operating behaviour, not numbers.
